How Does A PVC Butterfly Valve Work?

You can switch and close the PVC butterfly valve through the handle. And, during use, you need to pay attention to the circulating medium. If the water contains a lot of sediment, it will block the valve stem or other parts of the PVC butterfly valve, causing water leakage somewhere in the butterfly valve. At this time, you need to replace the PVC butterfly valve and try to filter out impurities in the water. Besides, if the PVC butterfly valve is to be used in a strong acid and alkali environment, you need to equip the important parts of the PVC butterfly valve with special materials, such as stainless steel stem and fluorine rubber sealing ring. If we rashly use ordinary material butterfly valves, it will reduce the butterfly valve service life, causing water leakage at the pipe joints.
