Structure and Material of Plastic Float Ball Valve

Plastic float ball valves are generally composed of a float ball, valve body, metal connecting rod, and other parts. The float ball is usually made of plastic. For example, our float balls are generally made of PE plastic. There are two optional materials for the valve body: metal (brass) and plastic (ABS). The connecting rods, screws, nuts, and other parts are all made of 201 stainless steel, while the rivets are made of 304 stainless steel.

 

Use of Plastic Float Ball Valves

When the water level in the tank drops, the float ball floating on the water surface also goes down. Then the metal connecting rod drives the piston inside the valve body to pull outward, thereby allowing water to fill the tank.

When the water reaches a certain level and the water surface rises, the float ball will also rise. Then the connecting rod lifts the piston again, thus stopping the water filling.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that the plastic float ball valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically according to the structure of the equipment, which is very flexible.
